Our Landscape Design Process

GreenWave’s Tried-And-True Landscape Design Process

Setting the transparency up front by laying out how we operate.

Here at GreenWave, we like to make everything as simple as possible. We don’t really see a point in drawing the process out and changing up pricing, so we want to make sure that everything is set up front so we’re both on the same page!

Step 1 Of The Landscape Design Process

Send Us Pictures

Sending us pictures of the project areas around your home are quite important. The reason for this is we want to be able to see what the client is seeing. This way we’re able to have a conversation while looking at the same area.

We’ve heard things in the past like “I have a few small to medium sized rocks in my yard…” and we find out that the client’s “small rocks” weigh 400 pounds. We live by the fact that a picture is worth 1000 words.

To upload photos of the yard to us, please visit our contact page!

Step 2 Of The Landscape Design Process

Free Phone Consultation

Once we have the pictures of the project area in hand, we’re able to have an open and honest conversation. We understand that we may not be the best company for everyone and we’d like to protect your time up front.

During this conversation, we’ll talk about one thing; the client! We’ll talk about what the project entails, what it will cost, timelines, etc. Unfortunately, landscapers aren’t always the best communicators so we want to make sure all expectations are set up front so there are no surprises halfway through the project.

Step 3 Of The Landscape Design Process

At Home Consultation

The At Home Consultation comes after we have that phone consultation. We make sure that the phone consultation comes first so we protect our client’s time because the last thing we want is for them to take off work and then realize we’re not a fit.

This consultation is to meet face-to-face and ensure that everything we discussed over the phone still holds true. While it’s a rare occasion, sometimes there are things that we can’t see in the photos that prohibit us from doing a client’s job at the price we discussed.
